Skincare ratings for 1,300+ products
Search 1,300+ skincare products from 340+ brands. Every one has a DemythSkin efficacy score and a safety score, worked out from its full ingredient list on the same rubric, so a $9 cleanser and a $400 cream are judged by exactly the same rules. Brand and price are never inputs.

Reading the ratings
What the numbers mean and how a product gets here.
How are these ratings different from skincare reviews?
A review tells you how a product felt to one person. These ratings tell you what the formula can do: every product is scored from its ingredient list against published evidence, so the numbers compare fairly across brands and prices.
What counts as a good score?
Both scores run from 1.0 to 5.0. 4.5 and up is exceptional, 4.0–4.4 strong, 3.5–3.9 solid, 3.0–3.4 basic, and anything under 3.0 is weak or worse. An efficacy score of 3.5 is the bar for our Best list.
What does the value verdict mean?
It sets what you pay against what the formula delivers, from Good Value to Severely Overpriced. A strong formula at a fair price wins; an expensive bottle of mostly water doesn't.
Why isn't my product here?
We only list products we've scanned with a complete ingredient list. Search it in the analyzer and it joins the database.
How often is the database updated?
Every hour. New scans appear on the next update, and when a brand reformulates, the product is re-scanned and re-scored.
