Our Verdict
Elegant, barrier-friendly cleansing balm that does its job very well—but the ceramide/peptide marketing is doing more work than the formula itself. As a first cleanse, its ester- and triglyceride-rich base plus mild PEG surfactants should remove sunscreen and makeup effectively without stripping, but the ceramides, cholesterol, panthenol, and tocopherol sit low in the INCI (likely ≤1%), so they add nice cushioning rather than true therapeutic barrier repair, which is why the efficacy score reflects excellent cleansing comfort, not treatment-level barrier support.
